Event Participation Agreement

Please read this Agreement carefully before registering for, or attending, any WITH-ME event or activity. By registering or attending, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms set out below.

Acknowledgement of Safety & Risk

I acknowledge and agree that the physical activities organised or conducted by WITH-ME have inherent dangers and risks, including but not limited to falls and injuries sustained as a result of contact with other participants, injury or death. I understand that it is my responsibility to communicate any physical or psychological concerns that may prevent me from taking part in an activity.

I acknowledge and agree that due to the nature of the physical activities, it would be unreasonable for WITH-ME to be in any way responsible for my injury or death and I, to the full extent permitted by law, waive all legal rights of action against and fully release WITH-ME for loss, damages, injury or death howsoever arising out of, or in relation to, my participation in the activities conducted or organised by WITH-ME including without limitation, liability for any negligent or tortious act or omission, breach of duty, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty on the part of WITH-ME, its officers, facilitators, representatives and organisers.

I acknowledge and agree that if I undertake an activity conducted or organised by WITH-ME this has been done freely, voluntarily and absolutely at my own risk and with a full acknowledgement and responsibility of the nature and extent of all risks involved in the activity.

Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to maintain a respectful and supportive atmosphere throughout events and programs avoiding any behaviour that could cause physical or emotional harm to others.

Media

I acknowledge and grant WITH-ME and its organisers the right to capture their likeness, voice, and activities through photography, videography, or audio recordings during events and activities.

These captured materials may be used for promotional, informational, or educational purposes, including but not limited to, social media, the community's website, promotional materials, and public relations.

I agree that if I do not wish to be photographed, videotaped, or recorded, I should inform the organisers in writing, and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate their request. However, the community cannot guarantee that I will not appear incidentally in the background of photos or videos.

By participating in events, I waive any claims related to the use of my likeness, voice, or activities as described in this section and consent to their use by WITH-ME.

Marketing and Communications

By registering for an event or activity, I consent to WITH-ME contacting me with information about similar events, activities, and charity updates. I understand I can opt out of these communications at any time by contacting WITH-ME directly or using the unsubscribe option provided in any email.

Registration of Waiver Completion

In the event that a participant fails to complete and sign this Agreement, such failure shall constitute a waiver of the participant's right to participate in WITH-ME activities. The participant acknowledges that they have been provided with ample opportunity to review and complete this agreement and that their failure to do so signifies their voluntary decision not to participate in community activities.

This section emphasises the importance of completing and signing the agreement and makes it clear that failure to do so results in the waiver of participation rights. Participants should be aware that their full compliance with these terms and conditions is necessary for their involvement in event activities.

Acceptance by Registration or Attendance

By registering for, or attending, any event or activity organised or conducted by WITH-ME, whether in person or online, I acknowledge and agree that I have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement in full, including the Acknowledgement of Safety & Risk, Code of Conduct, Media, and Marketing and Communications sections above.

I understand that registration or attendance constitutes my agreement to these terms, whether or not I have separately signed a physical or digital copy of this document. Where a signature has not been obtained, my act of registering or attending is treated as equivalent to a signed acceptance for all purposes under this Agreement.

I acknowledge that it remains my responsibility to review this Agreement prior to attending, and that WITH-ME may make this Agreement available at the point of registration, on the event listing, at check in, or by any other reasonable means.
